HV cabling & orange conduit
Chafed, cracked or rodent-damaged orange HV cable is a shock and fire risk. Any damage is a stop-work condition.
HV battery / inverter coolant
Low or degraded coolant lets the pack or inverter overheat, which cuts range and can trigger thermal derating.
12V auxiliary battery
A weak 12V aux battery is the #1 EV no-start cause; the car cannot close the HV contactors without it.
Charge port & latch
A burnt, loose or dirty charge port slows charging and can overheat. Check the latch, pins and seal.
Regenerative braking / brake wear
EV brakes wear slowly, so pads and rotors can corrode. Confirm regen is working and pads move freely.
